My first dangerous fail (except tyres)

MOT for a few years and you will still be amazed at what dangerous faults people drive their cars with,but the surprise will go, even had brake pair of front discs that had snapped at hub and could fully rotate braking surface,, presenters comment was " I thought the brakes were a bit sloppy , been like it for a few weeks,"
Front brakes were not working at all !!!and he had not bothered to have it checked, 3 young kids in car and he drove it away without a care in the world.

Yes @daveg. It was a Clio. Having worked for a Renault dealership many moons ago I've seen my fair share of knackered TR Ends but this takes the biscuit. I spoke to the presenter when they dropped it off and told me it drove fine!

baz657, I've never been a fan of the 4 4 2 idea. If you ask me a year is too long for some motors.

Just had another very similar TRE on a transporter today. I've not been at my usual garage last week and all this week. It's amazing how different the conditions of the cars are just 15miles apart. Could count on one hand the amount of cars I've passed first time since being there.
