Thinking of doing some free lance testing, any advice?

you could go around your local VTS's or as far out as your prepared to travel, talk to the AE's and ask them if they have the need for a freelance tester for full or part time testing and also holiday and sickness cover. you might be surprised how much work you can get. i have been a freelance tester for many years and registered at several VTS's and hold different VOSA roles at some of them. you can even start up your own little business as a sole trader and advertise your services, i am kept very busy. you could also try an agency. hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions.
