LAND ROVER R ROVER VELAR R-DYN MHEV 2021 Parking brake test

Did my 1st one yesterday and hope I got it right.....

The parking brake switch is also gearbox park,
If you switch off the engine the parking brake is applied, if you un-apply it the gearbox goes into park.
In the end I tested it in the rbt with the engine running, when you start the rollers "park brake fault" warning comes on but there doesn't seem to be any transmission drag.
You then have to keep rapidly applying the P switch and you get a good reading after several presses.
I was close to refusing to risk testing, hopefully nitros44 or someone else can confirm the procedure
