Nissan Pulsar (heater mtr)

Year 2015 model carried out. Dealers wanted £1600 for supplying and fitting new motor. Having seen where it is located I thought very involved job. Its located at the underside upper area of the drivers steering column. Looks very difficult to access.

Here goes...

Remove lower dash panel, Disconnect ALL electrical wiring to steering column. You'll not see the motor wiring until you lower the steering column. Four 12 mm nuts. Lower the column carefully and no need to disconnect the motor wiring. let the column rest on the drivers seat with the steering wheel. Twist the heater motor towards rear of the car and then pull out. Disconnect the multiplug. Refitting is the reversal. 

A good couple of hours to do but not that bad a job overall. Motors are £36.00 from the internet sales.
