You might want to complain about this?

2 quid a month at full retail?realistically base it on a 40 quid test cos thats probably closer to the national average even before factoring in free retests etc.anyone who thinks this is about helping the public is dreaming,5p off a litre of fuel that theyre already earning an extra 30+p in assorted taxes on anyone?its about reducing the stress on the gvmnt dept concerned half of whom are still working from home 2 yrs after the rest of us got back on the fooking bike.got any doubts?just take a look at the nthrn ireland scheme(run by the ministry)who are desperately trying to get the same thing thru and are probably a bit further down the road with it.for years there folks have struggled to get tests in any realistic time scale due largely to the incompetence/inability/staffing levels of the guys running things so are all for it but i seem to recall the uk gvmnt floating this repeatedly over the last few years and it getting shot down every time on road safety concerns but maybe their lockdown exemption figures r.e.mot fails etc look better on the dvsa algorithm than the fooking disasters we were actually seeing in front of us daily thus making it look viable.cynical?moi?
