Suspended could mean a number of things but since you have mentioned appeal I guess it is in relation to disciplinary action. In which case, you need to know how long the cessation is.

Could be short term cessation (30 days iirc), 2 or 5 years.

Suspended because you haven’t done a test in 6 months, or for not completing annual training can be rectified very quickly via completing current years training, assessment and demonstration test.
