4 wheel brake testing for vintage car

Back in the day 4 wheel brake testers were not uncommon, at least in the US, and some were apparently coin operated for passing motorists. The 'Weaver' being a common one;

That's why I'm on the lookout for a 4 platform tester near Crawley, this is the way that they would have been factory set albeit that the the platform testers of the '20s and '30s would operate hydraulically.

I want to keep the car as original as possible. The '34 Ford must have been one of the most chopped and rodded '30s vehicles so it's nice to keep one standard. But a hydraulic conversion is very tempting... Actual adjustment is done by shortening or lengthening the brake rod as one end has a threaded fork end. It's possible to slide under the car and drop the brake rods one by one and adjust them quickly to the nearest half turn after the cotters and clevis pins are removed.

I've never had the car on normal rollers, I guess that would enable me to get nearside/offside balance independently for front/rear if I had some way of applying constant pedal pressure, adjusting rears to get more braking on the front.
