Well this should mayhem round these parts. It's not been as widely publicised by GMC as you would expect it to give the impact it will have on those living and working in the area. Not sure how it will affect those running pre euro 6 campervans as they all tend to be still classified as N1 on the logbooks, not to mention a lot of landrover 90/110 defenders and various pickups such as navaras etc as they have been included in the classed as commercial and are N1 on the logbook also.

It will however give me a break from having to deal with rotten bags of sh--e transits and farm trucks for a while.

glasgow already has this for there town centre edinburgh has the same but are talking about takeing it out to the city limits this means when i go to the vosa council meeting i will have to pay a charge for my corsa van

I have to wonder that given this is (apparently, according to the article) all about levels of Nitrogen Dioxide how much of the problem has been caused by the German car industry quite deliberately cheating on NO2 emmissions tests? It amazes me that VW/Audi group are still in business after that particular revelation!
I know it sounds as if I'm ranting (which I probably am!) but they were perfectly happy to know that they were putting vehicles onto the road in massive numbers which were without a doubt causing an unknown number of premature deaths. And all in the pursuit of profit.

VW/Audi are a big concern and not without money. The emissions scandal to them is a drop in the ocean.

They are stlll building coal powered power stations in Europe and Germany has about 5 on the go that uses Brown coal the lignite stuff they buy from Poland

we have the bp , ici, up here and a fish pellet factory when the wind is blowing in the right way it smells nice not and the orange glow of the 3 cracking plants at night you dont have to put on a light at night too go for a pee

dont laugh there know going to build a insinerater plant down the docks god knows what there going to be burning last one they built up here was a bonnybridge it go shut down kids been born with major defects all round that area my be some thing but may be not the people up here are going daft about it
