Hey guys

Got a more uncertain one here. When I turn my steering to the right and do circles with my car (seat Ibiza 2013) (empty carpark) you can here an audible grinding sound, when I lock the steering wheel the other way no noise, so it is screaming driveshaft issue. I checked the drive shaft and there is not visible damage on the boots etc, just the noise. So would it fail MOT for this noise issue?

	You can't "unbreak" the broken,you can only break the unbroken to break the break of the unbroken, for me, you cannot unbreak me, for I am already broken,so you have no need to break the break because I am not unbroken.

Hey rocket. So are you saying it wouldn't fail for a clicking / grinding noise. Yes I plan to replace it if it is, it is just a matter.of time you see, so want to know wore case scenario.

My tranny has a worn CV joint that has been clicking since I bought the van back in 2014. The tester heard it I know this year but he has never mentioned it on mot.

Take it to some of these guys on here and it would not even pass the mot test if it were only three years old on its first test with 20K on the clock

Clicking should not be an issue the grinding can't say without assessing it still should be ok though
