Mot tester wanting to keep licence

I know somebody that got into a similar situation . The tester was knocking out bent tickets down the pub . Just wanted somewhere to sponsor him . If you let somebody test at your VTS so they can keep their licence then keep a check on your test logs , notifications about out of hours testing , and above all if there is any doubt then knock them off your system asap . You can soon add them back on when things are cleared up .

If somebody approaches a test station wanting to do a test to keep their license, another idea might be to do an mot yourself on a vehicle and then let the tester test that vehicle so you know then if they are above board or not. You don't need to tell them you already know the outcome!
