MOT Fail rough price?

Difficult to impossible to give an accurate quote for that job without taking the wheels off and stripping the brakes down to find out what is at fault with them .
Aftermarket HID conversion ? Fit standard bulbs . Simple job if the wiring ain't been cabbaged by whoever did the conversion .. That could get expensive .
The numberplate light fail sounds like it has it's own seperate switch from the position ( side ) lights .
or maybe somebody clicked on the wrong button .
Tyre could be a simple swap to other side of the car or strip it and turn it around on rim so it points the right way .
What's the registration number so we can see what car it is ?

In any case I would recommend getting yourself a second opinion if the price they give you is far off the guesstimates above . The ones above sound reasonable if there are no major issues .
