Coil spring location pass and advise or fail

ive gotta stop using simile/metaphor etc cos if you bunch are just gonna take the pi$$.......as an aside as you can pass springs that haver been cut down and you cant tell if it snapped incorrect location is all you got,chances are its broke but benefit of doubt etc......
