Smoke test machine break down

only 2 queries,1,how did they catch em?,2,how many were motors that wouldn't have revved and read anything anyway?cos if they got caught on a spot check they were unlucky!

Maybe there was a site visit. Could be a job going for a Service Manager & aedm

my point was that if they had half a brain they would have written out the"passed due to low emissions"bullsh1t for the relevant motors and if the ves spotted it on a visit well hey its just broke down innit!would have made things look better at the very least.am I the only guy with a sense of self preservation?i would guess that a tester got the hump and rang the ministry cos its seriously unlikely that the meter would die at the exact same time as a(increasingly rare)site visit unless it was almosy permanently inop.some folks are so dumb that I honestly wonder at their ability to breathe in and out unaided.....
