Peugeot RCZ SRS malfunction lamp

Do you think that's the same with bmws, or do they have a sequence, I find after I've run it in not operational on my pre checks then try it later it will be working, investigated with a x5 today but it didnt come on at all🤔🤔🤔 was thinking maybe it's first initial start??
