Hi all,

I sat the NTTA today and eagerly await the postman and result, however Ive received an invitation to book the New Tester LV course via email this evening.

Am I jumping the gun, or did I pass?

I'm 99% certain that you get that email when you pass so well done (I have another potential tester that's just passed the NTTA). Get in quick for the three day course and be prepared to travel as there are not many spaces left.

New Tester course booked for June, can anyone recommend anything specific to the training course that I should do or swot up on?

Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of testing where every day's an adventure. Best advice I can give to you is read the testing manual over and over. Pay particular attention to dates of rule changes, Lighting requirements, emission limits TPMS systems etc.

they will also try to trip you on dates for stuff so old your never likely to see it,april 87 rear belts,april 86 wing repeaters,65 seat belts required-stuff like that,emissions dates are also a perennial favourite
