MOT testing service unavailable Wednesday 17 February 2016 so we can make improvements to the MOT testing service, it will be unavailable tonight from 9pm to 10pm due to a database upgrade taking place.

If you need to carry out testing during this period, please use the contingency code which will be automatically displayed on your screen when the service is down.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Hopefully this'll sort out the problems with brake testing weights, cherished numbers, etc.

It's a no in regard to cherished/changed numbers. Had one today and all the previous history, test class and brake weights went away along with the old number. Reported it using the feedback button.

question for higher bods.

when a vehicle pulls more than 100% on decelerometer i.e. 104%, and click on submit, it comes up with " must be 1% to 100%
on comp1 there was no problem. can they not up the limit on comp 2? vehicle involved was a freelander td4.

not long been calibrated. perfectly dry, chipped road surface, so lots of grip, and its a permanent 4wd. don't forget its only 20mph.
motor has new brakes all round and bedded in. brake to weight ratio is much higher with modern motors. you can even get more than 100% on rbt, which comp2 doesn't complain about.
