Any official word from DVSA regarding the Comp 2 problems?

Has anyone had an actual explanation from DVSA as to what the problem is with comp 2, or are we all just expected to be patient, and trust in their ability to get it running as it should be?

I am aware that it is in it's Beta stages, but like most of you. I feel that it should never have been introduced until it was fit for purpose.
