Class VII, failed on "excessively corroded brake pipes" NO!!

Had VW LT280 come in for quote on VT30 from another test centre, Listed 1/ Reg plate light not working

2/ corrosion n/s & o/s inner outer sills

3/ park brake efficiency

4/ Both rear brake pipes excessive corroded

agree with 1 2 & 3 but the pipes were hardly corroded ,o/s was flaking the plastic covering and slightly rusty n/s had very slight corrosion last 30mm before union.



Cheap (indepenent)MOT & repair centre and the 2nd similar fail, so I did the rest of the repairs, cleaned pipes ,there was NO PITTING ,and sent it back for re-test as customer in hurry and would not appeal.



ANY VE's out there, can we have a tutorial sent out to ALL test centres explaining EXCESSIVE to N/Ts who are over failing brake pipes or failing for profit
