Don't forget to start checking diesel DPF's Feb 16, 2014 19:01:39 GMT 1

The start date is today for checking the presence of a diesel catalyst and/or particulate filter. It's a fail if it has obviously been removed.

Any vehicle where a catalytic converter or particulate filter is missing where one was fitted as standard will fail the test.

If in any doubt whether one was fitted as standard you know what to do...

The DPF had clearly been cut open and rewelded. Presenter wasn't too happy with my advisory.

First rev wasn't much over 1.5. Average of first three revs were 1.4 odds

If it was on the VSI that the vehicle was DPF equipped I think it would be fairly easy going to weed them out. Wally
