Advisory info. after passing MOT

Advisories are there for your information. The tester has found a defect with your car but feels that it is not bad enough for it to fail at the time of the test.

The track rod end it part of your steering. The ball joint has "slight play" therefor the feels you should be aware of it and get it rectified at your earliest convenience. It should be around £40 to get it replaced. You may also want to get the tracking done at the same time.

I don't think members should quote prices for repairs to peoples vehicles as this can have a profound effect on other businesses that might have differing overheads etc, and different parts of the country will or could be different anyway, i.e. living in London against somewhere like Manchester.

Is that with the VAT and tracking tim? We quote without VAT so would be about £48 plus the tracking.

Our labour rate is only £40 an hour (+VAT). We always advise tracking after any suspension work but its an optional extra.
