What is the most serious injury you have inflicted on your

i was working at piggens of montrose doing a clutch on a fork lift and fell down a pit boy o boy was i sore i hate pits

The list is so long I just resigned myself to being to being an unpaid stuntman !

I know of one person who managed to take out one eye and part of scull when a mondeo coil spring shot out, whilst using them micky mouse screw spring compressors! He's sold up and retired now, but has to live with permanet disabilities.

Fitting a rear silencer to a Seat Leon. I dropped the silencer and fixing lug caught my outer leg through overalls need ten stitches about 8 years ago
still bothers me today

I was very lucky back in 2015. I was changing front suspension coil springs using those alloy type micky mounce spring compressors with the little jaws on the ends. When I was releasing one of the springs the jaw moved at right angles to the spring coil and slipped round thus allowing the spring to shape like a banana. Without thinking because I'd done this so many times in years gone by I just grabbed hold of the spring and started releasing the spring compressor when without further warning and so fast, the spring compressor departed the spring and hit me in the forehead just above my eye. Blood appeared and my head felt so numb. I took myself to the hospital and the surgen talked to me and weighed up what he needed to do, which seemed like ages and I just wanted him to get on with it. Eventually he stitched me up and I went on my way. He did a good job really, my eyebrow looks okay. The numbness took about two days to wear off and get feeling back in my head. I did however when I got home start working again on the suspension springs renewal as before.  

I had a piece of rust in my eye some years back from working on the underside of a car. About 2.00am my eye started really huritating and I ended up driving myself to hospital. They got the rust out my eye but I had to go to an eye hospital for two operations on my eye. After putting drops in my eye they put my head in a machine using magnifiers and I could see the inside of my eye. When they drilled my eye to clean out the rust ring I could feel nothing but seen everything. Now that is an experience seeing a drill going into your own eye, hearing it but not feeling it. 

The surgen above who stitched me up told me that his next patient was a guy who had been using a grinder and cut off his fingers. The surgen said he'd seen the mess the guy was in but didn't know the outcome of what his fingers and hands would be like after surgury!

That's not the most serious is it!
