Hi,
Not sure if I am in the right section as I am a newbie.

Anyhows, the question I have is I am about to put the car in for MOT and the offside outer cV boot had snapped at the small end. The last half an inch that is fastened to drive shaft. It is a front wheel drive micra k11.
As a temporary fix, I have repacked the boot with grease and re fastened the small end of cv boot. However, the length of the boot is about three quarters of an inch shorter than it should be. It is not leaking grease and is OK on full lock both ways., just a bit tighter than a boot the full length. It is fastened securely and done some longish trips. Grease not leaking.

Do you think this would go through the MOT ?
