Yet more EU rules on the way?

Here's a few things that the EU may force us into...

New MOT test upon change of ownership

New MOT test after any alterations or mods to the environmental or safety parts

Testers unable to test vehicles owned by or who has economic, family or personal links with the vehicle presenter

The first two don't seem too far out of the way, but I have a problem with the third. The way it's worded personal links could include everybody you know! No more tests for mates, and if you get too friendly with your customers, they would have to go elsewhere too! Not exactly helping getting better relationships with customers.
