seems to be the norm now, when the threads on the automatic adjusters become a bit stiff, they go one way, but not all the way back. so next time they adjust, they don't come all way back, and so on. they are either too high or too low by a long way.

then there is those that use the car parked in front as a parking sensor!

then there is the quick sh1t/halfrauds bulb in upside down, or just not clipped in properly!

i've had one or two that kept winding on the adjuster, thinking it undid the light bulb!!

When I did MG and Ssangyong at the last dealer I worked at 5 years ago I did the PDI s on the MOT ramp with brand new light's easy to adjust set them to the Old limits ( I still do with the New cars ) I don't know why people get this WRONG and let's face it IT would be the first thing a Ministry . VOSA . DVSA examiner would try to pull you up ON had you set the equipment up correctly ? To the vehicle !!! And yes I've schooled a couple of them on them especially the Lucas hartridge machines
