Hello everyone ,
i have a few questions about fuses, if someone can help me that would be great. Around 3 weeks ago my radio stopped playing on the motorway. Then after i came home i checked and the fuse was blown. So i changed the fuse and it was running well for a week ,before it blew again. Then i changed it again, but as soon as i started the car, it blew. Like straight away. My first question is would it be alright to drive with that fuse taken out, its the car radio fuse? My second Question is what do you guys think might be causing this?

First thing to do is, find out if any other circuit powered by the same fuse.

If it is the radio only on that fuse, then you could disconnect the radio at the rear of the radio to find out if it is the radio blowing the fuse or the wiring to the radio.

If it is only the radio, then it would be fine to use vehicle with that fuse removed.

Yes i checked and i think the cigarette lighter is also powered by the same fuse. I had my charger in the whole time, which i'm guessing was overloading this. As soon as i took the charger out and put the fuse, there hasn't been a problem yet. Thank you for your reply though.

Thank you so much, i just noticed the first time my fuse blew was when i had my charger in . Its been in the whole time since then. Now taken the charger out, i've tried another fuse, its all good so far. So , Thank you 🙏
