2009 jag 2.2 x-type heavy steering

fluid change helping generally means the pipes were suspect,theyre ally and are either built with a dust content or said ally starts breaking up,the old fluid would probably have been grey yes?(although a pump that's been run dry can do the same)also I seem to recall theres a year cutoff between chf and dextron as fluids so it could have the wrong stuff in it past or present.if this is the case the next item to go will be normally be the rack,ford used to change rack/pump/pipes all at the same time.still its an old jag,shud be in the scrapyard before its an issue......
