i am updateing to a class 4 one man testing lane mines is receased hoffman rep come out and measured it up to make sure i would meet the requirements they will do this foc most of the ve are not interseated in helping you out for this

You need an approval in principle from DVSA before you start.

How slightly is slightly. Are we talking a few mm,or centimetres. If you prefer English, do you mean fractions, or inches.

Knowing my former SVE he wouldn't sign off ANY site unless the dimensional requirements were fully met, which is a fair point in my opinion.

He was fond of his laser measuring tool.

One of my customers had to remove half a brick width from a dividing wall to give sufficient clearance around the posts for his new ATL hoist. He was less than 30mm short.

Whatever you do, do not start installation until the dimensions are agreed.
