Most Test Stations discount in one form or another, the Government expect it because of consumer rights Bul**t and then complain about it if discounts are below about £45. My boss cut my wages about eleven years ago and I have never had a pay rise in the last thirteen years, so the truth is if the job went under tomorrow I wouldn't give a damn at this moment in time. I have not even had my last weeks wages (if you can call them that) at the time of writing, and I'm supposed to be paid weekly. Before you think it, yes I have worked in main dealers and small garages, my experience has never known any of them to be any good, its all about selling and undercutting everyone and money into management, staff are the door mats, we always have been.
