Here we go

A nasty cut, but a pass if there are no cords exposed. Cuts over 25mm or 10% of section area can be probed with a blunt tool. If cords can be seen using a probe it's a fail.

You are tasked through your job to assess vehicles and their suitability to travel on the roads. You have a duty to both the vehicle presenter AND your employer. Imagine if all of your eight? tests today had similar faults, and tomorrow, and the day after.

You would be in the dole queue in the blink of an eye. And so would your Boss.

I can't begin to tell you about some of the sheds that I have done; take the money and have no guilt.

your correct,its not about road safety its about covering you arse.youve done that now move on to the next bag of sh1te cos its likely to be worse.if your gonna spend the rest of your days agonising over the shortcomings in the scheme and the guys running it you are in for a harsh life,let it go and move on or your gonna end up with a stroke and not the pleasant sort

To be honest it's very rare that I refuse to test a vehicle unless for the usuall reasons like bonnet
Won't open, no coolant in etc. But I am just seeing what people's views are on refusing to test because of not be able to fail when it is dangerous!
