Putting old MOT printer on a network

Now that you get to keep old printer it can be used just by plugging the USB into a PC

But what if you want to print from tablets or other PC's as well?

Yes you can setup printer sharing on the PC but it needs to be on and it's not exactly reliable

So from ebay you can purchase an HP Jetdirect 175x (£20-£30)
These have a usb and lan port

Give the 175x a static IP address and you can print to it from any computer

Tablets will need Google Chrome and cloud print installed
