Vehicle Testing and Roadworthiness Team.

The vehicle weight (presented weight or design gross weight) is not relevant when carrying out a decelerometer test as a decelerometer gives retardation as a percentage of g (gravity) 9.81m/s2

100% efficiency on a decelerometer is therefore equal to a deceleration of 9.81m/s2
