Anyone going to Automechanika Birmingham

Don't know about this year but they've not been there the previous two years when I've been. I don't think they want to get face-to-face with the trade to be honest.

I don't think they can attend Trade Sales Exhibitions and the likes in an official role.

They can only attend seminars etc or VTS Councils as they're impartial and MOT Specific. They separated the media from the Councils for the same reasons after we went to Forbes House if you remember.

However, we as a Forum can organise annual, monthly, 2 yearly or whatever the frequency, meetings for members at a venue and request a member of DVSA attend for questions & answers as they've already promised us.

We just need to get funding support from members to cover all costs involved.

This is something we should do for sure I think. It could become a huge event if we manage it well.

I'll have a think about it while stuck in the inevitable traffic jam somewhere on Tuesday - nothing screwed up the plans yet and still planning on going.
