If the bikers want to commit suicide why don't they all go jump off a bridge ? Instead of inconveniencing the general public by having the highways closed so they can ride at suicidal speeds they could get their kicks by jumping of the bridge with their eyes closed and guess if the tide is in or out .

What they are doing is perfectly legal and all safety steps are taken. What he did is reckless endangerment, and needs to be stopped. For the record, I have to say I don't agree with road racing in a built up area either, that's what race tracks are for, but there you go.
