I wonder if the vehicle will return for a retest 

I've said it before but we should just have one box we can tick which simply says "Scrapper". Think of the time saved in not listing all the RFR's?
OK, I'm joking, sort of joking anyway. I had a 1988 Transit motor home in this week which was seriously so bad I cancelled the test because I couldn't find anywhere I trusted to jack it up on, let alone brake test it. No, seriously it was that bad. But all it had last year (at another test station) was an advisory on slight corrosion on two places. I don't believe it but what can you do? The previous owner (well, I hope it was the owner and not a garage) had just daubed filler all over the underside and then undersealed it. The worst I've ever seen in 22 years testing.
